Jason Roy has a love for business and is a key member of the 4CAST collective.

The charismatic opening bat has been at the forefront of England's limited-overs success in recent years, holding his country's records for the highest ODI score (180 v Australia) and highest ODI partnership with Alex Hales (256 v Sri Lanka).  

England's group-stage exit at the 2015 World Cup spawned a new era of adventurous cricket, an approach which perfectly suited Roy's swashbuckling game.

His maiden ODI hundred came in the UAE in late 2015 and he followed that century with two more at home to Sri Lanka the following summer. That included a 162, at the time the second-highest ODI score by an England batsman, in front of his home crowd at the Oval.

Roy surpassed Hales' record one-day score for England with a 180 in Melbourne, but his most significant contribution came at the 2019 World Cup.

He opened with a half-century against South Africa and a thunderous 153 against Bangladesh before a hamstring injury threatened to end his tournament.

Rushed back into the side for knockout games against India, New Zealand and Australia, Roy responded with three domineering half-centuries and three century partnerships with Jonny Bairstow.

By the time England had reached the final, Roy had registered three centuries and six halves in his previous 11 ODI innings.  

While Ben Stokes' brilliance stole the headlines in the final, there was no way England would have reached that stage without Roy's remarkable consistency.
