The final fixtures of this year's IPL are upon us and it's still very finely balanced.
4CAST athletes are present in three of the top four sides in the tournament, with Jos Buttler's Gujarat Titans in second place, Liam Livingstone and Sunrisers Hyderabad in third and Rajasthan Royals with Jofra Archer fourth. Reigning champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru sit top, with those four in pole position to advance to the knockout stages.
In the last week, Buttler has racked up 57 runs in another impressive batting display, though his Titans ultimately lost to play off qualifier outsiders Kolkata Knight Riders.
KL Rahul performed similarly well in Delhi Capitals' five-wicket win over the Royals, scoring 56 runs in a game where Jofra also impressed with two wickets. And Archer contributed a similar attacking output in his side's seven-wicket win against Lucknow Super Giants.
Elsewhere, Sunrisers defeated Chennai Super Kings by five wickets, though Liam Livingstone didn't feature.
This weekend sees the final league fixtures, with Gujarat (Buttler) taking on Chennai, Hyderabad (Livingstone) against table-topping RCB, Rajasthan (Archer) at Mumbai Indians and Delhi (Rahul) in Kolkata. Next week sees the qualifiers, eliminator match and the grand final of the 2026 edition of the IPL. Who will lift the trophy?
