It's a showdown between Jofra Archer and Jos Buttler to decide who will compete for the ultimate glory in this year's IPL!
An action-packed, brutal tournament is nearing its conclusion, with just two games left. KL Rahu's Delhi Capitals bowed out earlier this week before Liam Livingstone and Sunrisers Hyderabad were defeated by Rajasthan Royals in a first qualifier match. The second qualifier will take place on Friday evening between Rajasthan (Archer) and Gujarat Titans (Jos Buttler) to determine who will take on the reigning champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Earlier in the week, Jofra stunned the crowds in the Royals' 30-run victory against Mumbai Indians by contributing an impressive 32 runs and three wickets.
KL's final outing of the 2026 IPL saw him deliver 60 runs in Delhi's victory over Kolkata Knight Riders, whilst Jos contributed 29 runs in Gujarat's defeat to RCB, which saw the victors progress to Sunday's final.
Jofra then contributed a very impressive three wickets and three catches as his side knocked Sunrisers out of the competition, adding weight to his IPL MVP claim. The win saw his side qualify for the next knockout against Jos and Gujarat Titans on Friday evening, with the winner taking on RCB this Sunday.
