It's been a mixed start for the teams with 4CAST representation at the 2026 Indian Premier League.
There are four 4CAST athletes competing at the tournament, all for different teams, and they were in action for the first time this week.
Jos Buttler hit a very solid 38 runs for Gujarat Titans, including three fours and two sixes, as they fell to a three-wicket defeat against Punjab Kings. The winning side's Cooper Connolly took the headlines though, marking his debut with a stunning 72* runs.
Rajasthan Royals and Jofra Archer (2/19) kicked off their season with a comprehensive eight wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings. Archer, who has starred for the Royals at previous IPL tournaments, wowed the fans by clipping the wings of Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad early on before adding Noor Ahmad to what will likely be a long list of victims through this year's tournament.
Elsewhere, Liam Livingstone did not feature as Sunrisers Hyderabad lost to his old team - and last year's champions - Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
KL Rahul is set to feature on Wednesday afternoon for Delhi Capitals against his former side Lucknow Super Giants. All four 4CAST men will feature across the weekend in a number of fixtures, with Jos and Jofra facing off in the pick of the bunch on Saturday.
