Four 4CAST cricketers have been snapped up in the IPL's mega-auction in Jeddah ahead of the 2025 tournament.
Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer, Liam Livingstone and KL Rahul will all return to the flagship franchise event in spring 2025, having been plucked from the pot by a mix of teams.
Buttler, a veteran of the IPL, will join up with the likes of Mohammad Siraj and Kagiso Rabada at Gujarat Titans, having ended his seven-year association with Rajasthan Royals. The all-action batsman is a legend at RR, but will be plying his trade for a different team for the first time since 2017.
Rajasthan did still get their hands on a 4CAST star, with Jofra Archer returning to the side for his first IPL involvement since his return to full fitness. Archer starred for RR in the 2020 edition of the tournament, scooping the Most Valuable Player award for his performances.
Liam Livingstone, another ex-Rajasthan 4CAST man, will be turning out for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2025, having most recently starred for two seasons at Punjab Kings. The batsman will join up with Indian superstar Virat Kohli at RCB, as he prepares to wow a new set a fans with his big-hitting performances.
India's wicket-keeper KL Rahul will also star at the 2025 edition of the IPL, having been snapped up by Delhi Capitals, ending his time with Lucknow Super Giants. Delhi will be the fifth team Rahul represents in the IPL, having previously had spells with RCB, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kings XI Punjab and Lucknow.
