Footballco has partnered with the Saudi Pro League (SPL) to launch the Yalla SPL Show, a new English-language football show designed to engage Gen-Z audiences with the league’s biggest moments, stories, and stars.

Published monthly on GOAL’s global YouTube channel (40M+ followers), with additional clips across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.

Presented by the Barra Bruvvas, young football creators from London with Middle Eastern heritage, bringing high-energy content similar to GOAL’s successful Front Three show.

Features on-pitch highlights, fun challenges, and behind-the-scenes stories, helping international fans pick an SPL team to support.

The SPL is the fastest-growing league on GOAL, with over 44M readers engaging with SPL content in the past 12 months.

Why It Matters:

The Saudi Pro League’s global expansion continues, leveraging Footballco’s media expertise to capture young English-speaking fans, a demographic traditionally focused on European leagues.

Unlike previous entertainment-first football content, this partnership allows GOAL to showcase real match footage, adding an authentic layer to fan engagement.

The Yalla SPL Show could help further increase the SPL’s presence in key international markets, especially as the FIFA Club World Cup approaches in June. It follows other media experiments from the league, such as live-streaming a match on TikTok in Brazil
