Arsenal FC has unveiled the AWFC Collection, the club’s first lifestyle range dedicated solely to Arsenal Women, celebrating the team’s 38-year history and its pioneering role in women’s football.
The 18-piece collection features a red and black colourway, ‘AWFC’ lettering, and the Arsenal cannon, offering a unique identity beyond the men’s kit.
Launched ahead of International Women’s Day, the drop pays tribute to the club’s commitment to inclusivity and its historic role in growing the women’s game.
Arsenal Women started as a community-driven initiative in the 1980s, growing into the most successful women’s team in England with 60 major trophies to date.
Why It Matters:
Unlike most women’s teams in the UK, which often wear rebranded versions of their male counterparts' kits, this collection establishes a distinct identity for Arsenal Women—one that is shaped by its players and supporters, rather than an afterthought of the men’s range.
For fans wanting to express their support for the women’s team specifically, this is a much-needed shift away from generic fits and repurposed designs. It’s a small but integral step in building a standalone brand for women’s football, one that speaks to its audience authentically. Let’s hope more clubs follow suit.
P.S. It’s not just clothing where Arsenal are killing it. They also recently launched a ‘vibey’ collaboration with Me Old China, too
